Joint Committee for Guides in Metrology

The JCGM works to promote and harmonize metrology guidance, maintaining the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM) and the International Vocabulary of Metrology (VIM). Bare GUM/VIM-3 guide references and partial references with an optional trailing date are accepted.

InternationalSyntax JCGM identifiers follow: JCGM [Number]:[Year] or JCGM GUM-[Part]:[Year]. The GUM guides use the GUM prefix. Bare "GUM" / "VIM-3" forms are accepted and normalised; partial references (no year) and partial references with a trailing date are supported. Website →
