ITU
International Telecommunication Union
The ITU is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies. ITU standards (Recommendations) are fundamental to the operation of global telecommunications networks and services. ITU also publishes Implementers' Guides, Operational Bulletins, common-text joint Recommendations (co-published with ISO/IEC), and edition-suffixed (bis/ter/quater) and errata (Err.) forms.
