Description
Publications under the NIST CHIPS Research and Development program (Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors). Numbers are compound, hyphenated (e.g. 1400-3).
Syntax
NIST identifiers use publisher abbreviations (NIST, NBS for pre-1988 documents) followed by a type abbreviation and number. NIST PubID defines four rendering styles: Full (Long), Abbreviated, Short, and Machine-Readable (MR). The MR style uses dot-separated fields and serves as the DOI suffix.
