The CIE (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) is an independent, non-profit organization devoted to international cooperation and exchange of information on matters related to light, lighting, and color. CIE identifier families include Standards (S), Technical Specifications (TS), Proceedings, and D-series discrete documents; every identifier is guaranteed a non-empty root number for relaton-index compatibility.
